The mint app downloadable from OCM can help you mint your projects NFTs on the XRPL with a few clicks of a button.
For easier setup of your wallet and account to test minting NFTs headover to the OnChain Whales Discord and talk to Wesley our friendly discord bot.
The websocket is the XRPL server that you will be connecting to to complete your minting transactions to the XRPL. There is no right or wrong answer to which websocket to connect to. Go here for some public servers
The issuer is the XRPL address that these NFTs will be minted to. This will be the first recorded owner of these NFTs and serve as a basis for authentication for the legitimacy of an NFT. Alongside the address you must input the seed phrase associated with this account so transactions can be allowed on this account. (Don't worry, everything is safe)
The meatdata URI section requires the string of URI locations of the relevant metadata for the asset you wish to mint onto the XRPL. Please make sure you separate each one with a comma for the app to cycle through.
In the case that minting messed up or you stopped it accidentally, you can check the "check for existing URI" box and the application will not mint duplicate data if it exists in your account.

A taxon number does not serve any one ultimate purpose, it can be any number you want to represent anything you want. It is NOT a collection identifier.
The transfer fee is a percentage from 0% to 50%. This is a percentage that gets taken from every transaction of the issued NFT to your issuing address.
The flags are a set of extra utlity and functionality to the NFT determined by the minting address, each one serves it's own use case
The burnable flag allows the NFT to be burnt by the issuer at any point in time no matter who the owner is. If you check this box you are creating a dangerous investment item for your consumers.
This flag is quite self explanatory, the NFT can only be traded for $XRP
The trustline flag will automatically set the trustline for 3rd party token royalties that arrive to your issuer address. (This one is quite handy)
The transferable flag allows your NFT to be traded and moved around by anyone. If this is not checked, the NFT can only move to and from the issuer.
Write a happy little message to be stored on the ledger with each minted NFT.
